Category:2006 albumsPolice in Albuquerque, New Mexico are investigating a triple homicide that occurred early Monday morning. Authorities say that three people were found dead inside of an apartment.
Around 1 a.m., an officer responded to a shooting at an apartment complex in the 5000 block of San Mateo SE. Upon arrival, the officer found three deceased adults, including a woman who appeared to be dead from a gunshot wound. The officer also found what was described as a large number of shell casings in the apartment.
Later, the police received information that an unknown person had entered the same apartment and shot three individuals. The person who entered the apartment remains at-large.
After an investigation, the police determined that three deaths had occurred in the apartment.
While police have not released the identities of the deceased people, the deceased woman appears to be in her 30s. The police also have not disclosed the location of the incident, the nature of the injuries, or what led to the triple homicide.
The police did indicate that they believe that this was an isolated incident and that there were no other victims.
